Edit: The old site is back online for today (release blocking bug encountered), but on December 11, at 2:00am PST, the site will be offline again for a few hours to complete the rest of the release of the new 6GC. Things are looking good so far!

In about fourteen hours, I'm going to try the new 6GC release again. I built a new server and it works with several different domain names, so I'm hoping it works with 6gc.net.

Friday, December 10, at 2am PST, I'm going to take the site down and try the release over again. I'll know within thirty minutes if the problems still exist and I have to rollback, or if it works. If it works, I expect the release to take no longer than three hours. If not, the site will be back online even faster.

So I just got done with the first phase of the release, and things are looking great for the most part. There's one odd bug which I'm tracking down right now, and while I'm fixing this bug (which isn't too hard but will take several hours), I put the old site back online.

So the site will be up all day today, and on Saturday, December 11 at 2:00am PST I'll take the site back offline for a couple hours to finish the rest of the release.

I'm sure you don't have to keep it online until 2am pst to minimize downtime, I am sure no one would mind
if you do it in the middle of the day, if you want. Thanks for all the hard work on this.
