The roads are not as curvey but the Driftwood area is nice.
There is a good BBQ place in Driftwood just southwest of Austin called "The Salt Lick", if you want to end there and have a bite. Here is the web stie link. The "NUtty Brown Cafe" is another good place with a variety of food.

Ive heard a lot of good things about that route. I would love to do that one, but it'll be an all day drive for sure, or i'd have to stay overnight. And getting some of the DFW guys down there would be kind of hard.
If it matters, I'll be in the Dallas/Richardson/Carollton area on Friday for my eye appointment in the early afternoon if anyone's up for a late lunch or early dinner.

Lol. My cousin's office isn't open on Sundays.

Yeah, I knew the meeting point was the same. But as far as the route was concerned, its so I can post more information at the other sites I've whored into this. By the way, DFW guys, I'll be sending out one last request to attend (for those Ive talked to) so we can arrange a cruise out....I plan on stopping off in Killeen to visit LilJoe (if hes not attending) to say hi and look at his ride (and of course take some pics)....

I have the feeling that I'll be brining someone, so really only have rear seat room, and we all know thats a joke, unless your under 5 feet.
Oh no, I really do not want to post this here, but there is a chance that I may not be able to make it. I'm trying to get the celica road worthy right now, barring any unforseen bs, I should be good, but today has been nothing but a BS kind of day. Right now, she sits in a parking lot at my shop.
