WTB: 2 front JDM fenders (and side markers) - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #77721 36 posts Started by dudeofchaos
I'm looking for 2 front JDM fenders and the side markers. I don't care about the color, I just want absolute no rust nor dent on them.
I'm near Montreal, I can come and pick em up if you're not too far. Otherwise I'll pay the shipping cost but I'd rather pick them up myself cause fenders are fragile.

good luck with this. I've been tryinng to look for a left side jdm fender and I've had no luck in the past 3 weeks. There are a ton of right side jdm fenders on nengun auctions! about 10 of them but no left ones frown.gif

Well Im not gonna buy only the markers if I dont have the fenders but if I find fenders I will PM you. Are they amber or clean?
why don't you just find the measurements for the jdm side markers and patch up the usdm spot?
it's your best bet if you can't find them
I can get the measurements for you if you'd like. I'm about to convert my left side usdm fender to jdm fender within the next week or so. So I'll take some pics if you would like me to just let me know

Because my right side fender has been bumped in. So instead of changing it for a usdm fender I want to change both fenders for Jdm's.
I woudn't do it anyways if I could cause I can't do it myself and I wouldn't want to pay someone to do it.

how bad is it pushed in? why not just hit it out if it's not bad, put some bondo or whatever on it, sand it prime it and paint it?

if its only the right side buy a jdm right fender from here!! although Im not sure if you can buy from nengun auctions since you aren't located in japan. go ahead and send the website an email to see if you can do so.

you should be able to find all 10 or so right fenders. let me know if you find a left one thats grey or silver!!!

Nah, my left side is a usdm. Can't have 1 of both.
I have one right side JDM fender in silver here ($100 plus shipping)
Also left and right side repeater lights with leads ($25 each plus shipping)

I can probably find you a left fender in Japan too.

I'm in Calgary, AB.

If you can find a left fender tell me right away! Would you know how much it would cost for the shipping? (Zip code: J7B 1S9)

I will have to see about finding a left fender first.
If you are in a rush it will be very expensive to air ship ... if you are not in a rush, I can have it container shipped to Vancouver and then packaged up for shipment direct to J7B 1S9.

What colour is your car? I might have colour options to pick from if the stars line up.

Countainer shipped? Isn't there any risk of damaging?
No I'm not in a rush so take your time, I'm taking out my celica in april-may.
My car is silver, but it doesn't really matter since I'm going to repaint them anyways. I just want absolute NO rust NOR dent on them, it's the only thing that matters to me.
Thanks!

Container shipping is by far safer than air shipping when dealing with a fender. Don't worry, I wouldn't send out a bent fender ... just need to find one first.

Will let you know.

Alright, I'm not really familiar with shipping methods so I'll just trust you lol.
Come back to me if you ever have news! Thanks

Been looking and nothing worth importing has come up.

I have a list of parts I check for each week tho so I'll trudge on with the search.

i can get the fenders i just dont know how i would ship them out. i dont even know who to contact about it. USPS wont ship them they are to big. if someone could shed some light on a container shipment then i could probably get dude's and bonzai's
Alright, thanks for the info guys! smile.gif
You're awesome.
please do get fenders in! they're probably some of the hardest things to get...no one has em' (usually comes with clip) or wants to sell em'!
does anyone (ZEN) have any info about how i can ship the fenders out. i know where a few are but im not guna go get them until i know i can ship them cuz then im just stuck with fenders and well i already have fenders on my car lol so they would be useless. let me know so i can hook these guys up.
I buy a large amount of jdm parts from japan and
only cheap way is sea freight. Fedex will ship but
cost will be crazy for 2 fenders.

J-hot used to be good source but they are done.

Set i got from them in states was sent fedex freight.

Honestly right now yen is way up against dollar so
shipping anything from Japan is highest been in 15yrs.

Have you ever bought fragile parts (like fenders) from somewhere and received them damaged? Just wondering if it's all safe...

But I'm willing to pay for the shipping cost even if it's quite high. Tell me guys how much it would cost and I'll tell you if I'm okay with it.
This may be dumb question but why not just have US/CANADIAN fenders filled and hole cut
for side marker. ?

I have shipped large stuff but only from UK and most was heavy (transmission)
but smaller..

Problem is space is money and then these are close to being/if not classified as oversized and will raise rates big time
I had a set of fenders shipped years ago by desertwolf in one box from TX and it was huge but in US.

I would guess 400-700+ to ship fenders fedex from japan.. maybe 250-400 seafreight

I just shipped 15 rare celica parts over and that cost 600 and it was mostly small stuff

If dead set on fenders i would look at UK as closer and more shipping options and they speak English!!!

FORGMAN your right the Yen rate is ridiculous over here right now. 80 yen to 1 dollar. ive tried to find ways to ship big stuff out of here before when i was trying to sell my body kit and hood and no one will ship it its to big. im guna try to exhaust all resources first but its not overly promising.
