It's pretty sweet haha!
I started off cheap, and bought an Exceed drift king.
Brushless, 3000kv (I think). Upgraded all the steering and hubs and arms to HSP alloy parts.
I'll take a photo of it this afternoon!

It does just as well/even better than the HPI sprint 2's and Tamiya tt01e that my friends have.

Sure, why not? You can always peel it off if you don't like it. smile.gif
Id say keep em black.

I didn't read the whole thread so this is probably answered but what are you lowered on?

Thanks hector and Ted! Haven't seen you around much hector! Haha.
I'm lowered on BC coilovers. Full stiff, real bumpy. Haha

Yeah, I don't know! I haven't been frequenting the forums lately. My mechanical engineering degree is taking over. But I missed all you guys.

So i'm in the process of changing out my studs, to extended.

As you can see, they are a bit short tongue.gif (i shaved off a few threads for my old spacers)

Ran into a bit of a problem, when i changed them i didn't anticipate for them to be so long and my open ended lug nuts only JUST tightened, and HAD to use a 5mm spacer to get them on.

Getting the nuts off, was the problem.
I couldn't get my key inside to get it, so had to resort to brute force... this is the worst one that took a lot of persuading to get out

Good news though, got the fronts done, along with a 5mm spacer, and freshly painted brake calipers.

Alot more scrapin' is happening wink.gif

Looks sweet Timmy! I wish my coupe had your stance.

What is the total wheel diameter/width and final offset for this fitment? It's crazy stupid sexy

1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold1994 Celica GT Liftback
tongue.gif
It will be:
18x8 +25 up front
18x9 +25 in the rear

|Flickr|Facebook|Tumblr|Progress...|
So you put the x9 back in the rear? Damn so much width. The wheels I bought are 17x7 +48... a lot of spacing is gonna be needed haha

1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold1994 Celica GT Liftback
Yeah I never put the 9" up front. They are more concave than the 8's and would have looked silly tongue.gif could go a little but wider if I had more stretch on the front.

|Flickr|Facebook|Tumblr|Progress...|
I'll just buy 25mm front and 35mm rear spacers and see how that looks, 'cause I know +48 is too high of an offset on a x7 wheel for clearance in our cars.

Thanks for the info!

1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold1994 Celica GT Liftback
I originally had 17x7 +45 with no issues. A 35mm spacer is getting a bit big haha

I never asked, how does it ride on the BC Coilovers? I'm debating between Megan and BC but they seem to be the same. Only difference is the Megans are sometimes found a little cheaper.

1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold1994 Celica GT Liftback
They run pretty sweet on the bc's, I'd imagine the same with Megans if they have the same adjustments (dempening etc) mine is a real bumpy/stiff ride though because of my ride height/wide wheels. Haha
