Very nice gt-4!!!Should be an awesome car!!

May i ask why you chose a 4th gen 3sgte to build instead of a 3rd gen?

Hi,

thanks

i decided to use the 4th generation for the following reasons

- coil on plug (cam angle sensor & crank angle sensor)
- allegedly no cooling ways between the cylinders (which can cause a cracked block), like the gen.3

Hi,

small update

2nd version of the fuel rail, now with damper

slightly modified water outled, AN6 water connector for the turbo

blanked throttle body connector

and who knows a gen.3 water outlet know the difference, there are no 1000 sensor in it just one for the ECU and combi meter

denso 850cc injectors

that is it, i just hope to buy the turbocharger in january or february

Hi,

new post was comin in yesterday, gen5 throttle body and valve cover

the intake manifold has to be machined to so that the TB fit and it could be hard but the IC will possible fit with the valve cover

@ admin

meanwhile i think i'am a little bit wrong in the section, can you transfer the thread in the forces induction section? thanks

Hi Martin, there are three problems to solve with the valce cover

- find one that fit the top mounted wta intercooler
- that fit with the gen.3 center feed throtthle body
- and i need threads for the COP setup

the gen.4 will 90% not fit in front of the side feed TB and the higher intake manifold they used so i decided to try a gen.5
cover as toyota went back to a center feed TB on the latest version of the 3S-GTE so there space in the TB area
and hopefull the intercooler will fit but i have a bad feel.....if no one works i will modify the gen.3 cover.....

in front of a talk to a friend which uses a haltech ECU on his engine i got told that the ECU can 't can controll the ISCV
100% well so i will go for a haltech and the gen.5 TB don't have the valve attached as it is mounted on the side of the
intake manifold, the other reason is that i can use a standart hose from intercooler to TB which i want if i will use a
phenolic intake spacer to get a safe fitted hose

i hope that answers your questions but feel free to ask smile.gif
