rims/ tires, im confuzzled - 6G Celicas Forums

so i picked up sum free rims and tires today, theyre 215/35/r18s.... will these fit my celi? thats really all i wanted to know... idk how these tire shanangans work

Isn't 35 a bit thin? Mine are 40 and they're pretty low-profile.

Yes, 35 is a low profile tire. The sidewall will be about 11m shorter than your tire, but he is running 18" wheels, so the circumference of his tires come out to be about 12mm more than a 215/40r17 tire. Some people like 35, others like 40. I'm one of those who like 40 on 18s and 45 on 17s, (given it's between a 215-235 tire).
Lug pattern needs to be 5x100 and the width and offset matter as well. How wide are the wheels, and what offset?

Yes, 35 is a low profile tire. 35's are 10% smaller than 40's.............

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
