will a wiring harness from a AT ST work for a MT ST?
quick harness question - 6G Celicas Forums
with minor modification. I believe it's the same with the GT's. The two big wires need to be spliced. that way the auto ECU thinks it's in park so you can start up. Becareful though, Because it'll start in gear. When starting in gear, Without no clutch it'll LURCH like a maniac.

do you know which two big wires that need to be spiced? or know a threat that talks about it?
uh... I have a pic somewhere... Can't find it in my photobucket. PM me and stay on my ass for a minitue, it's in one of my mondo-gigantua camcorder files somewhere....
Oh and mind you it's because when i swaped auto to manual i just modified the harness.
In the mean time use this:

i cut the wires and spliced them yet there's no action when i turn the key
