eBay. 7th gen Celica short shifter.

Unless you wanna pay like $200 for the TRD Quick Shift kit.

what is the average cost of it? And will any 7th gen short shifter fit my 96 ST without modifications?

TEAMFaint yes it will work that is what i have in my ST205. there is a couple problems with it but over all not that big of a deal. one its a pain in the ass to get the old on out of the retarded assembly that they put them in and you cant use the little plastic thing that goes around to the top and the bottom of the shifter.
as you can see i got a screw driver stuck in it and still cant get it out. oh well. also you have to remove the factory rubber grommet that the stock bolts go through that holds the whole thing down i used the stock bolts instead of the ones in the kit because they had a washer on them and when you take the grommet out the hole is to big for the bolt they give you without a washer and the stock ones were long enough. another thing is that you get a little bit of play in the shifter itself because the pivot balls are a little bit smaller the the 6gen, but not that big of a deal. i would do it again if i was in the market for a short shifter. over all its a lil pain to get it in but in the end its worth it shifts very nice with a set of speed source shifter bushings.
