Haha how funny, I was just looking at buying those same TRD wheels for my vert today
I was looking to buy set as well. Only issue is these team dynamics
wheels are over 20lbs a wheel.

the trd look sexy, but still the ones ive got are rarer, but its a tough choice.

I favor 18's but something with a little lip and healthy offset like 25 or 30
I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
18 is way too big for me so id go 17

IMO 18s looks big when the car is not lowered and dont have side skirts and splitters. If you do o think 18s are the best option.
weight should not factor into what rims you're buying...unless you go to the track often. the rims i recently bought were 21lbs. to me, it's heavy but i'm just dd it so it doesn't matter.
18's look better on a modified car.
But 17 rules over 18 any day in practicality, value and performance.
you need ET35 or spacers for those other TRD items you are working to get installed
wanna know how I know ?
voted the 18in because i have that same rims on my 7th gen

Also if this is your DD, if yu have the 18's there is a higher chance you may damage the rim due to the lower profile tires. I've seen a many sweet rims gone due to this

I vote you get the TRD's then sell me the Caldina rims

Kidding, I love those Caldina rims. Keep them.

18", is easy to drive and look better. I got TenzoR 18" and are so funny to drive.
Keep the M-Theory wheels. They look so nice. I had a set of silver TRD 18's on my XRS and they looked ok, better than the flat black ones, but I had to run low profile tires and it just didn't ride nice.
Keep the 17's, i wanted the trd wheels for awhile, but not a fan of 18's, hate the ride of low pro tires, and spacers are going to add another 300 bucks for a good name brand pair

How is it that the 18s have more than twice the votes that the 17s do? The 17s are infinitely more sexy.
