It can't hurt anything. Our cars are prone to rust, so every little bit helps.

i notice there were cans of rubberized undercar spray at autozone for 4.99. won't those work just fine? lol
just bring it to a local repair shop to have em do it. we have a shop that does it for 120 and a bit more for rubberizing underneath. im not familiar with this stuff but ill be getting mine rust proof later this month and ill be checking out the 5 options they have lol. btw, if it has rust already wouldn't that ruin it even more? jw
As a professional welder: I recommend ANYTHING! lol.
any kind of spray primer is my #1 choice unless it's going to be exposed to overheated conditions- in witch point I'd use galvanize or high temp paint. Rust is simply the decomposition of metals by bonding with water and oxygen. Deny the two culprits from exposure and [/problem]
sh!t- Playdough would work if applied tight enough. lol. For that fact- so would vegetable oil.... spray adheisive, clear coating, ect. Somethings last longer than others though.... just sayin...

in wisconsin i laugh at this stuff, nothing will help here.
Anyways i used the stuff at autozone and it seemed to due the job. Also get seam sealer for where body pieces come together(the joints where it is normally just spot welded together).
