So I got this horse used, and it would appear the previous owners ran it barefoot through thorn pastures. I noticed two bolts missing from the engine (seriously), from the head and valve cover. I'd appreciate it if anyone knew offhand the size of these bolts so I can go put them in.

Also, that engine is mad dirty. I'm thinking I should replace the valve cover gasket, because something's leaking. Motor runs great though, not burning oil at all.

OK, awesome, I'm glad to hear this. Thanks for the answers. I know the picture is grainy, but does it look like the valve cover gasket needs replaced?

Haha, yeah that's for sure. Any recommendations on what to use? I don't have a hoist so I can only clean so much, but any bit would be worth it....such a shame to see a 6gc in this condition.
Carb cleaner or engine degreaser and a pressure blaster
