Is there a different version of the JDM tails? I was looking through some pics of SS-III's and found that a few of them have a "darker" colored set of tail lights. Is there any info on this?

It looks like they just tinted out the reverse light portion of the housings....

i agree....jdm tails shouldn't be that dark if no mods has been done to oem lights

Another mod you might see people do to there JDM tails is remove the amber lens.

I like the way they look without the amber in the turn signals. It looks like they did more than tint the reverse light, the whole housing looks darker.

Get the red reflector plate off the unit and change it into clear perspex.

Maybe you have to make some custom red lenses the get this
