my car runs like ass cold. idle bounces between 1600-2100K
eventually, it'll warm up and the idle will fall down to about 8-900ish. but after you drive it, a lot of the time (though not all) it will often idle at 1900 rpm (constant, no rev) if you start it warm, it idles ok, untill you drive it a little bit then it goes back up to 1900.
other then that, it runs fine.... (well, if you don't count the heat/ac or the cruise, which don't work...)

well, sometimes i get a (can't remember the code) "engine idle above 3000 while not in gear" or something like that. but the light and the idle weirdness don't coincide. (and it clears every time you turn off the car) i've been told that the light has something to do with it being a jap motor and a someother ecu and the ecu doesn't recognise the cat, but who the hell knows.
and no, i haven't checked it yet (but it acts like a icv problem), so i guess maybe i'll get off my lazy butt tomorrow and test it. what the heck, maybe i'll learn something. /narf.

there are small differences between the 2, as one is located in the front (celica) and the other in the rear (MR2) - nothing really to worry about as any differences in pictures/ measurements are labelled ST202 or MR2.
