nothing.
What might happen is that you might lose some low end torque.
You will have alot of high end torque and HP.
But to really see a benefit in all of this amount of air, you will have to change you air/fuel ratio.
Please buy a a/f meter to make sure that you are not running lean, which can harm the engine since you maybe be running you engine hard out.
Also, with that amount of air, you can also enlargen your throttle body to allow more air into the engine.

So ................... if i got the air / fuel sorted - in theory it should work??
and what's involved in enlargin the throttle body?

The intake maybe quiet due to a lack in really low pipe pressure. At high rpm, it will be loud, but may not be loud as a single filter.
It also depend on filter size.
If you have a highperformance exhaust, the filter will be a little more noiser.
Add more fuel using a adjustable fuel pressure w/ guage and advance you timing a little. change you sparks plugs to some NGK racing plugs.
Listen for pinging when advancing you timing.
Enlarging the throttle body allow more air into the engine. Really comes into play at high rpm.
I forgot to ask you this.
Are you only interest in looks and sound?

yeah! obviously i want the sound, but the power gain and acceleration is the main thing.

Check your other post for updates.
Either way, you do not need two filter except for shows.
One nice filter will do it.

I checked the blitz site, there is a intake for the GT4, would it work if i putthat on my GT??

No sure.
Does your 3sge uses a AFM?
Air flow meter?
Please make a choice for the import GTFour.
Go for that. Since you are a student, this will save you money in the log run since the starting HP is 225 -240HP
No, not that i know of!
The thing with the GT4 in England is that we have very high insurance premiums, especially for 'grey' imports from japan. (Especialy at my age!)

I know.
Thank is why I am going from a standard.
I lost my car on a slick road last year.
Ok. Make a choice. Try what I advised you on.
Start from number 4 and move down. You will be surprise to see and feel the difference.
Get a friend whose have a slightly fast car than you.
Gauge your added performance to him.
Then later, add some toda racing (cams, lightened flywheel) and you will see the difference.
Again, check out www.fensport.co.uk in your area. if not, follow my mods slowly on my project selica plan for late this year or next year.

My cuz has a prelude 2.2 vtec, heez got much better acceleration than me, but i hope ur info helps me kick his ass!!!

We did a straight line race once (He got 4 wheel steer, better on bends then me!!), hees better in 1st & 2nd, but then i catch up later on, but im always behind!!!!!
but then again my mates got a civic vti, and he is very fast of the line (Probably coz of the weight!)
my cuz has got a apexi vtec afc, custom intake and custom exhaust. i think he is planning typeR cams.

What year is your car?
You may have VVT-i.
Ok. follow all that I have on your other post.
You should spend way less than 1000 pounds.
Call fensport.com.
After all the mods, either order the JUN kits on my post for my project car or order some toda racing (264 -272 degree cams, lightened flywheel, valve spring kit and a clutch kit).
I think that I have said enough. Do some reasearch and give Fensport.com or co.uk a call.
Good luck with this advancement.
