Hello all.

Im a newbie here. I have the opportunity to pick up a 1994 celica gt-s. It has about 275,000kms (170,877miles)

I can get it for maybe $1500 canadian, Im not afraid to tackle on repairs myself. Just looking for opinions
if I should just stay away from this vehicle. I will be using it as my daily commuter.

2nd question, are parts expensive to replace on these cars.

I bought my 1994 st 2 years ago at 201 000km and put like 5000$ in all kinds of repair since. It's also my DD so that is why i always needed to fix things up right away and sometimes pay a little more. So, if you really like this car and are not affraid of investing time and money in it because you accept the fact that its your big boys toy, go ahead!
