I have read all the sticky's and posts etc, but have only found info on the 2grfe swap.
I'm guessing this is a better engine than the 1MZFE engine. But the 1MZFE is much more common and cheaper to buy.
My question is: would the 1MZFE be a easier swap? Has anyone done this swap?
Are the results worth it?

Several times to a Celica, though not sure if it's been done in a sixth-gen. Adrian Averginos (SP?) wrote extensively on what he did to get one in his GT on celicatech.com
The reason i'm asking is because the camry's which came out at the same period as the 6th Gen, came with two motors in Australia. The 5SFE and the 1MZFE, so it seems logical that the 1MZFE should bolt in the place of the 5SFE, but it's strange that no one on here even talks about it. They seem to go straight for the 2GRFE, which is more powerful, but seems much more expensive and complicated to swap.
I am seriously considering this swap very soon.

Ummmm. I have an entire thread documenting my 1mz swap. Two or three others have done it as well into celicas. Theres documentation everywhere. Search harder.
Edit: after a few minutes of searching...
