hey guys, has anyone have any sound clips of there bov being recirculated with the 3s? im thinkin about doing that with my swap but wondering on how it will sound. some cars sound different then others. anyone like or dislike theres? any input would be helpful thanks.
btw im using a HKS ssqv bov if it helps.

I have mine recirculated. All you hear is a faint swoosh.
One thing you can try is removing the triangle thing in the center of the bov. It changes the sound of the hks by removing the chrip, so all you hear is a pssss type of sound.

sweet deal bro, no i didnt see this thread, i searched but maybe i didnt type in the proper key words. thats basically what im looking for for a sound. thank for he video clip. i found a a lil kit for my BOV on ebay for like 50 bucks, im going to get it and see if i can make it work, thanks again guys!

I have the triangle peice taken out of my ssqv, cam.
Recirculating it really quiets it down.

The sound you get from your BOV differs greatly with different configurations like engine, turbo, boost level, piping, attachments, etc
But in any case a good setup always sounds great.
like for example, the standard insert in HKS SSQV sounds awesome in WRX, Evo, etc but I had a laggy turbo and it sounded crap in my car unless high in revs. I haven't had it vent to atmo on my new GT28RS setup, but I bet it would sound great.
Plumb back is quieter, but theres enough sound to be heard by other motorists anyways
