Topic #7959 9 posts Started by 5sfeTurbo
Well since theres no real High-flow cat around I keep hearing of "gutting your cat." So im not a good mechanic but i can for sure take it off......so what would I do next take a screw driver and go to town >rolleyes.gif> no really I have no clue.
Lastly will my check engine light come on or something stupid like that?

will that give you any sort of increase in power or torque?
get a test pipe, and then when my emissions comes up put on the cat?
Sorry about the wrong forum, lost track of were I was >rolleyes.gif>

there was a post not to long about about using a corolla high flow cat.

I heard there is no reason to gut the cat unless your boosting, and even so if your boosting past about the 400hp mark. No need to gut the cat at all, just buy a high flow one, and get custom exhaust all the way from the down pipe back and have them pop that in there.
