Yup! sorry for night shot, took me 3 to 4 hours to do it. By the time I was done, it was getting colder and dark. Oh by the way, if you think about doing it? try to avoid doing it in the cold. The vinyl doesn't stretch well. I did use some heat gun, but that can only keep it soft for a few seconds.

As long as it's not cold. It's probably best to take the hood indoors.

Awesome. Do you have cold winters there? I'd be very interested to see how it holds up in winter.

Looks great!

Probably not as cold as canada, but in PA we get a lot of cold weather. I'm also interested on how this will hold up. They say that it suppose to last for 5 years in hot and cold, so will see?

Where did you order it from? How big of a sheet did you end up getting?

Scale of 1-10 (1=Easy); how hard was it to apply properly? (no air bubbles, etc)

I would say a 4 if you did it in a warm condition and 8-10 in the cold (below 60*). I started doing it at 67 F* and was doing well. Took me 3 hours and started to get later and colder. Then it started getting tougher when it got colder bc the vinyl the not stretch as easy and when I did blow it with the heat gun, the elasticity did not last long enough for me to shape it in place. So right now there is 1 or 2 imperfections. I have some spare wraps, and next time I'll do it in spring or summer. 60x54 is the safest bet in size, any shorter you may have a hard time with spare room to move and adjust.

those 3m vinyl products are great. you did a good job with the application.

I just got a universal one and they work just great for what I use it for. I carry my kayak with it and remove it when I'm done.
