I stepped outside n looked at my celica and an interesting idea ht me. Suicide Hood. As many of u know The st205 hood has a gap on st202s. For some it looks good, for others it doesnt. Ive grown attached to the gap and its forced cooling function. But with all the air being forced in it could potentionally be un safe. With this in mind Im really leaning toward doing a suicide hood.
What are your thoughts and opinions on this? Good, bad, or other

Gonna need some crazy custom hinges, and the engine will be a BITCH to work on, oil filter, radiator and headlight bulbs come to mind.
cut the hood in half and open it like a storm shelter
What I think when you think I care
Check out the e30 hinges and latch, etc.

Its been done before in a celica from factory. No its not dificult to work on the car. You need a light hood since the supports on the front may not be up to par. If you have gt4 hood modifying the aluminum will be a bithc.
