Smoke on cold start - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #79970 5 posts Started by dudeofchaos
I was just wondering, the car smokes a lil on a cold start once in a while (no matter what is the temperature outside). You guys think it would be the valves seal?
I've lost some oil (From a lil under max to a lil over min on the dip stick after in almost 3 months)

What set of gasket are you actually talking about? Head gasket or?
cold start up smoke is usually valve seals

smoke on acceleration or all the time is usually piston rings
