Topic #80071 3 posts Started by vile_v
I don't know how it happen but after cleaning up my engine bay i noticed that my coolant temperature sensor is broken and the plug for it is completely missing just the ripped wires remaining. kindasad.gif

Could someone take a picture of the sensor so i can see how to wire the new plug!

Thanks in advance!

I did use the search function, but for some reason it doesn't work on my computer.... it just lags out 6gc. If i try to search something nothing loads on 6gc unless a close my browser. double weird.

the coolant temp sensor, 2 pins, is just a resistor that varies it resistance with the temperature of the engine.

there is no right or wrong way to wire it. just make sure to use solder and seal up the wires well (small heat shrink on both wires, and larger over both is what id do)
