I'm in the process of installing MS to a 7AFTE..first dose anyone one know anyone thats done this? i dont wanna reinvent the wheel. second, what type of IAC dose the 7afe have?step motor?

It should be a PWM valve, if there are no different IAC valves used in the 7A-FE. I've tried hard to find out more about it, especially the working frequency. This is what i found:

yes. it uses two coils though. id keep one at 12v and pwm the other. monitor them though... to make sure it doesnt overheat. if it gets too hot to touch, try adding a resistor to the static coil
