New user, new 95 Celi... - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #80216 13 posts Started by tech_cruz787
Hey guys,

Just bought my 1995 Toyota Celica ST about three weeks ago and have quickly fallen in love with it. I always admired the sixth generation models and after a month and a half of non-stop looking I found her on Craigslist for the reasonable price of $2,700 (Reasonable because i found it in Orlando where people are famous for their overpricing). The previous owner took pretty good care of it. I had a bit of a scare when it started over heating not too long ago, but it was thankfully just the thermostat.

I have to say that I am more than thankful for this site. It has already came in handy. Even though I they are known to last, my Celi already has 166,xxx miles and she will be to the best of my abilities my "Project Car/Daily Driver." So in advance I would like to say thank you for all of the old threads with answers and any new ones that might pop in my new threads.

I'm soon to tackle quick projects such as: Short Ram Intake, Lowering Springs, New Front Bearings, Tints, even a new shift boot...

Please visit my page and let me know what you guys think. biggrin.gif

Welcome to the site and congratulations on a clean vehicle. Feel free to create a project thread in the My Project section of the forum to keep track of your mods/little bits and pieces of info/etc.

Cheers! thumbsup.gif

Will do that soon... I also added an old 8" bazooka and kenwood stereo. I'll be sure to put those pics up. Thanks Keiri!

Good thread, good thread. You're in Orlando, meaning I can surely count on your attendance at future Florida meets. Your plans for the car seem solid. Best of luck with the ST.

I feel ya man. There are some dumb drivers in mid-Florida and my old Honda was a victim of that a while ago. That's why I take the back roads to school now. laugh.gif

And I intend in keeping her that way. You have a very clean GT. Your cruising wheels and suspension set up looks very nice.
