Well I was working the other day and reading through labels and was curious. This said on the back "if your car has more than 50,000 miles, this product is guaranteed to make you feel a difference in power." So, I was interested and bought a can.
I popped the top to some blue goo looking stuff and got sketched a bit, but I poured it in. Started the car to circulate it through and after running it for a while, I shut it off. Yesterday while driving I noticed a huge drop in oil pressure and a slight increase in low RPM torque. Is this 15PSI drop safe? Should I change my oil? Has anyone used this stuff before?

? Your gunna have to elaborate on that for me. Everything I've read on it yesterday did not mention that....just the increase in compression, and the usual "your car will explode" kind of stuff that you see with any additive.
what did your pressure drop to?

I was running roughly 35 -40 range and today it went back up to 30psi. Yesterday it was 15-20psi

20psi is a big drop.
With engine at normal operating temperature, oil pressure
should be at least 4.3 psi at idle and 36-71 psi at 3000 RPM.
the shi...stuff may have really watered down your oil.

My understanding is that it's full of tin and other soft metals that 'fill in' bore wear and help lube the rings..problem is you're also burning these soft metals off...which flow down stream and can/will coat the O2 sensors and cat converter, killing them.
As for the difference in oil pressure, might have gunked up the oil pressure sensor with it.

That's what I was thinking. It would explain why the pressure is almost normal again. The cat is not worth anything to me at this point accept an income from the scrap yard as it will be going as soon as I put on the new exhaust. O2 sensors aren't a concern.

except the O2 sensors sort of determine things like fuel consumption...and power at part throttle.

So far, since the treatment, I've gained throttle response, gained pickup, and I don't smoke at startup anymore. I also am not losing any oil anymore. It's been good for the past 500 miles. Just checked it yesterday and it's still the same height since I put in the restore.
I'm a believer. This stuff has worked just as advertised so far. I don't see any truth in that clogging cat or O2 sensor thing yet.

Good to hear. Did you put in the whole can on top of a full oil change or were you a little low to begin with?
I waited until it burned off a bit (which was about a quarter quart every 400 miles before I put the can through due to the exhaust side valve leak, the sparkplug tube leak, and the oil pan gasket leak) and I didn't put all 4.1 quarts in to begin with because I was planning on using this stuff.
I fixed the spark tube leak at the same time though... so maybe the burning oil was from that and not the valves like I thought and I fixed the issue, not the product... but I've had nothing but good results so far.

It won't happen after 500 miles. Tell us in 3000 miles if the can was still worth it. You cannot 'fix' an engine with a can, you can bandaid it but the root problem still exists.

Well there wasn't really anything wrong with the engine besides the possible valve leak which ended up being the spark plug tube.
Should I change my oil now or wait until the regular interval?
