wanting info on engine swap, what should i do? - 6G Celicas Forums
No homo? That rules out half the people I know here.
(Hey Matt)
Anyway, seeing as this is a forum, I will just go about posting my opinion here instead of calling since I do think such is the point of after all. How would you go about implementing an electric engine unit?

TBH, electric is the way to go for a 100% powerband. even with a "150" hp electric motor your bound to beat any 3s on a street course.
but that would be a VERY hard thing to accomplish. maybe take the 7a, attach it to a similarly powered dc generator and wire in two motors to the rear wheels that add up to the power of the gernerator. use the gas like normal. except the 7a will likely only revv to 4-5000 under full load, idealy. and less for lower power levels from the dc motors. would make an AMAzing torque monster.
but to be honest again, a more likely motor would be a v6, 3s of some sort, or an 4a of some flavor.
what are your goals? budget?
