Hello all. Well next summer I will starting a new project. St202c and the theme Im going with is Sport/Luxury/VIP. I plan on doing a custom bodykit, maybe slammed, stretched tires, and cambered out(still debating). I was wondering is it possible to get a deep dish style rim for our cars, like u see with many drift style cars and vip cars? i want to stay at 17" and if possible keep a the same lug spacing. But I also want a flush look. Look for specific numbers if all possible.

You'll need a wide wheel, a low offset, and lots of fender work.

17 x 8.5 or 9 5x100 +20 all around. So say you find rims you like in the width i suggest you get but the offset is 35+, get a 15mm spacer to bring it down to +20 total offset

With this offset you'll have to roll and slightly pull fenders with "good" camber

Stretch the tires 205/45/, 205/40, 215/45, 215/40.....which ever tire size is cheaper and easy to find for 17in rims

as far as rim styling Work Varianza TS1 Black Chrome or Black polish is what I have my eyes on, its the ultimate VIP look on Sport body designed cars. Only down side is NO 17" size available.

So sizing for an 18" rim, my choice would be 18 x 9.0 (you can get your choice offset, I wont give you my specs ) They have a Deep Disk/Rim or O-Disk option with a full range of offsets to choose from and an A-Disk/Standard Rim. A 19+ offset will give you an 89mm Lip. Go ahead and check out Work Wheels USA, they have a PDF rim option size chart for you to look at.

With all those measurements put in to play, can go with 17x10 or 18x10 no spacers? I wanna go deep on rim to lip but flush lip to body with no need for spacers. Is it possible? I wanna buy TCW Caldwells with this measurement if I can. Granted they are expensive but I love the look that they offer

First is you gotta see if the rim you want have available rim sizes for the 5x100 bolt pattern, then see if they offer a range of offset numbers. You can go 10" wide rims, as long as the rims you're getting allows a range of offsets to choose from.

The Work Varianza T1S are priced about $875+ per rim not including the color chosen and option disk you want.

If you want to go 10" wide you'd have to fly by the wheel offset thread and see what offset is given my Harold_Fastwaker, but with that width you want you'd have the rim poking out and the tire STRETCHED more than a China Town Hooker. Not to mention the load you'd put on your wheel bearings and engine
