There has always been a fair amount of moisture in my drivers side headlight but now theres a puddle in the bitch..It looks nasty, whats the best remedy?

I keep getting that damn moisture too.
I had the same problem with my driver's side high beam. Didn't go as drastic as to drill a hole in the back of it, but after giving her _MANY_ good washes and driving her a lot.. it cleared up. Just spray the bitch and spray your engine bay area lightly as well, worked for me.

man my passenger side high beam had alot of water in it when i bought my car and when i looked closely at it there was a hole in the glass so i ended up having to replace it. >

hey guys, i have an uncle who is car dealer and we came across this plenty of times. the reason for moisture or water is either a hole/crack in the glass or just a crack in the silicone that fits the glass with the light housing.
if water stays in the head light, this is due to a hole/crack at the top of the light which happens quite oftenly to all models and makes for 2 reasons.
1. the top is the most prone to the light and heat from the sun and engine
2. easily damaged when closing the hood.
my answer is always

you just cant go wrong with some clear silicone. if you do a mistake it is easily removable. You have to identify the problem first (find the crack or hole). take off the headlight, empty all the water and clean the lense with some windex or something. let it dry in the sun for a few hours and apply the silicone where needed.
Caution: I complete disagree with some other views regarding drilling holes to let water come out. The whole point is to not letting water coming in the headlight and probably destroyring the bulbs and and wiring.

My car came with a nice puddle in the driver's side high beam housing too. I just used a siphon pump and pumped the water out from the bulb opening and used some towel to dry it up slowly.. but it dried up once the weather got really dry.
