>your CAT is toast! i had the same reading on my 2001 GT-S and i swapped out the CAT and i passed with flying colors. you can get an ODBII CAT on eBay and have a muffler shop just weld it in. this would go down in your exhaust pipe under the car. the CAT thats built into your header is $$$$...now if you are wiling to drive up here, and you have a GT with a 5S-FE, you can borrow mine and do your SMOG up here and then we can swap it back out, thats fine with me. Im up in Lancaster BTW
Thanks for the idea smaay. I noticed I have another mini cat or muffler underneath the car is that where you mean and or what is that thing down there do.
As far as mabey my 02 sensors are iffy I had the check engine light come on once a while back but I unhooked the battery and it never came on again(6 months ago). If 02 would I change both or one of them.
I want to fix it since it has been coming together nicely and mabey some more mpg out of it.
Thanks
Edit I think I will change both 02 sensors and give it a go.
