I'm not organizing the group buy, I'm just making the list so you people have enough time to think about it, and reserve the money for it....that way we don't waste time convincing others to get it or trying to compile a list...it'll be easier for chrisc and less time involved.

I now have real TRD H/B wing and small shop near me builds fiberglass race car bodies for SCCA ,etc...

anyway they can make a high quality replica and i will insure every one fits w/o any issues .. i will include allen bolt hardware and allen key for added security..

i am only going to make on a pre-paid basis but mold will be available if you decide you want one later this year..

i don't have final numbers until later this week but goal is 350 or less +shipping ..

i would like to get 5 guys to commit like any group purchase the more we get the cheaper it is .. i am not going to push a larger group as i want to keep this wing unique to some degree...

the main reason my wing will be a few bucks more is my wing will be made in US .. not in china ..

i hate copies of anything and i paid a lot of $$$ for my TRD wing and i am going to personally inspect every wing i make to insure fit and any issues ..

my wings will also come with allen head bolt hardware to add a little extra security to wing ..

just so everyone knows from the shops i have talked to i am pretty much selling these wings at cost and possibly even a few bucks out of mine own pocket to keep it under 350 shipped.

you can buy copy right now like i said from UK w/ or w/o / carbon center section but exchange rate is awful right now.. i have heard the guy in UK makes good copies..

Han The Man, you need to say wether you are in or not, you can not get the wing used to make the replicas...that belongs to the person getting the replicas...

as for info on the group buy
it will happen AFTER all buyers of HIRO splitters and TRD wing for Coupe have received their items to ensure the legitimacy of Chrisc, who will be in charge of the Group Purchase, if we can get 10+ people, the more people the cheaper.

it is for replicas made from a real wing, and if we get enough people, there's the option of having a carbon center

so please, stop sending me PM asking stupid questions or pushing me to start it...I just started this post to have some organization and when they're made, we pay the money and get done with it without waiting for broke people to get their money. This thread has been open since december, so everybody that wants one doesn't have an excuse to not have at least a little bit of money. Once the group buy starts, we're not waiting for ANYONE to get money. We'll get 10 buyers and it's gonna be done. Because every group buy I've been in it's taken too long because of people not following instructions. So sorry for having this attitude but I'm really tired of every group buy that's gone almost sour. So one more time, any post not related to somebody being 100% sure and having the money will be deleted. I'm in the military, so I like organization and formality...and this group buy is going to be just like that...and this topic too.

One more thing, I'm more inclined in getting the ones made in the USA. I think it's going to be better for all of use, even if they're more expensive. And I would love the carbon fiber center. So, let's get some money saved up and get these wings to us.

so are you suggesting that we go through 95wrc, or did Chrisc say he found someone in the US wo does high quality carbon fiber?

things need to be cleared up

i stated i am still looking for a new shop to make copies off my REAL TRD wing but not untill after i get my GT4 towed home which i hope is in the next month..
copies will be made in US .. which means they will cost more to make then the ones made in China or wherever.. i will do whatever i can to make any copies i make 350 or less..

carbon fiber was a option i wanted to do and my old shop could do it but i have no idea if new shop will have capabilties..

IF CHRISC is doing this GB then that is fine but he has not offically said he was so this GB is really just a list ..

i think is great we have a list of buyers and i really wish i could start sending out copies right now but rest assured i am still looking for a new fiberglass shop .. i have a few contacts that i need to call that might lead me to the right place..

if you must have wing asap and have a large bag of cash then http://www.whifbitz.co.uk sells copies already w/ or w/o carbon . looking at over 600 for wing and shipping due to exchange rate..

Ok, this is SO FAR the deal...whoever is interested...correction...whoever is GOING TO BUY A REPLICA TRD WING FOR HIS HATCHBACK 6TH GEN FROM THIS GROUP BUY THAT HASN'T STARTED YET, IN OTHER WORDS, NOT EXISTENT AT THE MOMENT, is going to give 40% of the total price up front...the process of molding and manufacturing takes about a month and a half...this 40% measure is to assure that nobody backs out of it and prevents the process from running 100% sure. Please, if you don't have money, just stay out and don't give excuses...I took iniciative to write this topic in December so we could go through this painlessly when the group buy started...plenty of time to make arranges for money. It's only approximately $335 with shipping included...but save at least $350 just in case. Anyway, by the end of June, everybody better had sent the rest of the money...you're going to be on your own time after you pay 40% and the wings are done. The longer you take to pay, the longer the wing takes to get to you. That's all. And yes, the question you were going to ask after this...who's the ONE? Chrisc is the ONE so far.
