I've been holding out for projectors for some time now and finally got some stateside for cheap enough. put those on and swap out my yellow fogs with my other set that aren't cracked. decided against doing the yellow tint again. so happy with how it looks now. biggrin.gif

disappointed again... Pulled off that front bumper for nothing...

I know... I should find a cheap turbo setup and throw it on the 7a so i can blow it up and swap it out. biggrin.gif

Quick question: Will mine and Brigette’s seat at your reception this weekend be inside your Celica? Because that would be neat if everyone had tables set up but your Celica was sitting where a table belongs and Brigette and myself could sit in it. Just throwing that out there. #6p3gang

not much of an update on the celi. but more of an update on my life. (although the celi did get cleaned up nice)
but this past weekend I got married to the love of my life, no, not the green one or the red/orange one. laugh.gif
also had some celica buddies join us as well. Thanks again Daniel & Brigette!

my next mod if i ever catch up on my list of todo's is to remove the amber from my tail lights.
uploading some pics to preserve the info for later.

still gotta paint my spoiler and riser blocks at some point as well as my passenger side door. or a full body respray at that point.

That would look really clean. As far as amber splotches in lights go, I think these taillights look really good compared to many others out there, so I've always been torn about doing this mod.

Do you have LEDs in there? Now that would look really good.

I think clear with a good LED or some of those bulbs with the special coating to look clear but give off amber would look nice.

I'm a bit torn myself but we'll see once i do get the time to do it.
and no, I don't have LEDs in there but if I do this, then maybe I'll switch them out to LEDs.

don't even remind me.... my heavy ass 1zz matrix has more get up than my celi. its sad. i get bored in the matrix because it's so comfy and quiet and can't wait to drive the celi but when i hop into it and floor it, my heart sinks lollll. all i want is about 300HP back by a manual gearbox... is that too much to ask for?

Agreed, manual it! It looks real good man. Wish my exterior was that clean! But daily driving the car in MN w/ crap ton of construction doesn't help. We do gotta get some photos together one day.

I do want to ask though about your roof wing. Did you have to reinforce the middle so it doesn't slouch? Or is the wing itself a strong plastic?

Not if you just buy a domestic like I did. Seriously though unless you're going to swap and/or drop some decent money it's really the only way. You could always 4th gen 3S-GTE swap the Celica. My Celica ST wasn't too terrible with the 5-speed though, it was bearable at least.
