so radiators in and working, brakes are fixed, high beams tinted.

but now my hood won't open. WTF! oh well i'll see what i can do.

alright, another good junkyard dive.

found 5 6gcs.

got a new hood latch assembly
also picked up some tweeters to go with my tweeter covers. I read that there is a wire there to just plug in right?

also, got the "TOYOTA CELICA" emblem off the rear as well as a GT key light ring, and a Toyota Security light for under your dash.
(these are extra parts so if anybody is interested shoot me a PM)

I'll most likely go back and dig for more treasure! hehehehe
there were a couple GTs there, with two post spoilers. gonna grab one for me soon. smile.gif

Got some new mods on today.

clear door lens from a lexus



wrapped my headers



picked up a GT strut bar






AND the big decision!....


I'm leaving it on for now.

Junk had them separated into imports and domestics.

Did you drill new holes for the two post? Overall difficulty?

was excited to put it on and didn't wanna drill it until I got some body prepping materials ready so I just took off my 3post and cleaned the hatch as good as I could.

then used the little covers for the door cards to pop on top of the holes to cover it for now since I had a few extras. then some tape on the inside just to be safe. and then I just used the one bolt on each side that matched up with the 2 post and bolted it on.

the hatch already has a spot you can see where the other hole would need to be drilled so I don't think it would be too difficult but for now, I'm rolling ghetto style. took it on the highway a few times and it held up fine. no shaking, no rattle, no flying off my car and killing a nice family on the road so it's good for now. smile.gif

also gotta take my ornaments from my room and put them on my car so they don't collect dust like - TRD springs & my GReddy SP muffler. hehehe biggrin.gif

No problem man, had to check on u as I'm sure ur doing the same with me, lol. Its not to bad here just really boring. Almost a waste of time really. Just ready to get home and finish the build just as much as ur ready to get started on urs, lol. Looking forward to ur updates and I'll continue updating my thread as well.

well since you came to check up on me, I figured I better get my butt in gear too so I recently bought some TRD rear spats. Waiting for it to arrive to I can throw them on since they were already painted green too. Hopefully it's a close color. biggrin.gif

I like those clear lens for the courtesy light. Never understood the red lens...

Header wrap looks solid!

Not so sure on that rear visor...its looks off for some reason on your car...might be the coloring..

Edit: Annnd I just realized I reply'd and missing the most recent page...ah well.
