I want to get rid of the overlays on the gauges & get the sweet stock look back. Never worked anyway!!!
They came with the Celica when bought, so IDK how it's applied.
Is there a safe way to remove without damaging the original??

depends on how the previous owner put them on, if they were glued too then it will damage. if notglued,they just slide out

I'll be taking a look Friday morning. I have some 3M adhesive remover I used to remove weather strip glue, but I think it would be bad news for the gauges.
I've read that it's NOT a good thing to lift the needles off.
Oh well, there's no teacher like experience. Lol!!
i glued mine on and when i took em off i damaged. i had to get a usedcluster and removeneedles and so on.....gl
