Thoughts on these rims? - 6G Celicas Forums

these are quite heavy for a 16 inch rim. 7th gen gt-s celica rims are 19 pounds each. are you looking only to fit 16 inch rims on your celica? you can get some 17 inch rims that look nicer and weigh less than 21.5 pounds.

What do you recommend? I dont have alot to spend on rims right now but can you pick up those 7th gens for pretty cheap? and what is the weight of the stock alloys?

7th gen GT-S rims are 19 pounds with +39 offset. You can find those rims for $250 in pretty good condition.

whats your budget??? are you looking for 16 or 17 inch rims?

the highest i might go is $500 and either of those, not sure yet but probably 16" and im thinking 2 inch drop for suspension with coilovers, just enough to make everything look flush

lowest drop springs are the tanafe df210. get 16 x 7 rims with +35 offset if possible. you'll then have to get some 225/45R16 tires. You'll need a +25 offset after spacers are involved depending on which rims you get or like. Most fwd style rims come with +38 to +42 offset.

And what dimension if I were to go with 17" rims? just if I change my mind?
