Well, at least the timing should put you in Chicago after rush hour, or near the end of it. The last thing you want at the end of a roadtrip is to city in rush hour traffic.

sorry guys, ive been trying to get my mortgage closed on may 1st, and yesterday the underwriter hit me up with more documents and requirements, so i could not work on the car, it has bad alignment, and they might need more info. The plans were to mke the 8 hour trip today and rest.

Im still stuck at home waiting for the response of the underwriter, and no way i can get up at 2 in the am tomorrow.

You shouldn't be travelling through Chicago, but rush hour on a Friday afternoon can extend south of the city and into northwest Indiana. Some people live in nw IN and travel to Chicago and the 'burbs for work.

I'm thinking about taking off and heading up there tonight, but I would get there at like 3-4 in the morning and end up sleeping in the car for a while. Otherwise it looks like Brigette and I are heading up there at 5 in the morning.

Checking the 36 hour forecast, weather.com is saying the rain will mainly be in the morning. Might still stop by the car wash anyway...

So I grabbed the small box of noodles by mistake for the salad, I can make a second batch with penne pasta I have here. Is there going to be demand for this or should I just come with a smaller serving?

Uhh.... A bunch. Lol. 4 big tupperware bowls full, 15 lbs worth. I didn't really count how many I made.

What else do we still need? I've got some charcoal just in case, but is anyone getting any burger toppings/condiments?

I picked up charcoal too, since I hadn't heard from anyone earlier tonight. I'll just leave it at home for a different time.

I also picked up some Pepsi, Mountain Dew, root beer, and orange soda, as well as tortilla chips, bbq chips, and ketchup. I didn't grab any mustard or anything else though.

The more charcoal we have the better. Let's just hope it doesn't get sussed out by rain. You all got some lighter fluid too? I'm bringing a lame thrower....
From what I understand we can't have open flames near richee3's car, dang those rich-tuned Toyota RedTop engines ;-)

Can't wait to meet all you Toyota guys today... I have a feeling that the rain WILL stop and make for a fun meet... The good thing about all the rain is that it will make all the cars look good (until it dries Haha!)
