>nice.. what are you using to polish with?
perhaps it is the camera but i do not see any swerles or small scuffs from the media used to polish with.
i did some polishing of SS and aluminum. and did it like this:
1:start with fine brass wire brush on right angle air tool.
2:medium grade steal wool.
3:then 0000 steal wool, with mothers aluminum polish.
4:finish with neverdul
5:final was only if i could, buff with bench grinder and drill mounted buffing wheel..
i like for the most part how mine turned out but still have aspects about it that i dont like... primarily the fact that i can get it nice and smooth and polished, but in the light you can still see swerles..
so what did you do to get such a nice finish?
and deff keep it up, its a nice start.. cant wait to see the finished product!!
hey .... well i work at a body shop .... so i whas playing around with different things
i took 400 grit and sanded all the imperfections out ...... then 800 grit /////// 1200 grit /// 2000 grit witch it starts to sine good /// then 3000 grit ... all by hand thats the only way to not get swirls
