If I were to buy 17" rims, would I really need to lower my car or would I be able to keep it as is with out it looking goofy?
I got coilovers and heres pics of my celica, lowered 4" with 17' Rims

But, if you wanna go for a smooth ride and best ride quality go for Eibach sportline 1.5 springs and body kit if is your Choice. >biggrin.gif>

Sold my Celica....
ill put 17" on mine with 40 profile tires ...without lowering it

it is supposed to looks alright
ehh.... I would say that with 17's you shouldn't need to lower it. However your still gona have a HUGE wheel gap. So I would lower it at least 1.5". Ive got the sportlines on mine and the ride is good.

I have 17's w/ 40 profile tires. Mine looks ok, way better than just factory IMHO but i still want to get the Eibach sportlines to lower it.
