Any benefits over the rev 4 from a caldina over the rev 3?
My engine is pretty old like everyone elses so I plan to have a spare some day for when it blows.
Hi,

i currently built a gen.4 engine, there i found several advantages

- more powerfull coil on plug ignition
- possability to use the blacktop oilpump which give you more flow

but it is a lot of work to change the engine so if you just need a replacement engine i would go with a gen.3 but
if you plan a performance built then use him

Hi Sunny

Really? I would had thought that the rev 4 would be a direct drop in?
gen 4 has a ton more electronics, its more of a wiring nightmare over a gen 3
