I am just going to post a thread of my buddies gt-four whenever he needs a question answered that I might be sure of... I'll start of with a concern of my own, the car does not smoke at idle at all but when boosting the oil dipstick always pops upwards, could this be a bad pcv valve or a clogged catch can? or are we looking at blowby starting, the car is at 1.1 Bar so about 16-17 psi

The dipstick popping up under load is indicative of high crankcase pressure. This can be the dreaded ringlands (worn piston rings). My dipstick popped up consistently and I tried a brand new dipstick and it's never popped up since.

Try the cheap fixes first! I could have spent lots on replacing the rings unnecessarily!!!

completely stock has an apexi AVCR boost controller and an hks mushroom filter...other than that and a BOV I don't know where i would find a new dipstick for a gt4??

Toyota dealer is where I got mine. They should be able to get them in. You may have to wait a while though...
