One time I left a mirror on the extension tool thingy inside the valve cover of my 5sfe. Found all the peices of glass in my oil pan 2000 miles later.
My celica also set for a year because I left the ground wire on the back of the intake off.
Do you feel less stupid now?

haha I'm reading the sh**T outta this while studying for a quiz at 9 am. This is pure enjoyment right now lol. I really hope this is the problem, but if the suggested solution was to unplug the sensor to make the ecu run at default trim levels that may be slightly rich due to start-up.... my fingers are crossed that this fixes it..... but I have small reservations atm
Worst case scenario you found one more thing you would have had to have tackled eventually. Make sure to check ALL the wiring in the immediate vicinity of the plug as well just to be sure.
