I feel as if the MAJORITY of all celicas I see and hear of are either 94-95. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed this pattern. Does anyone have any information on this? I couldn't find a whole lot, but it just seems like 94-95 is where all the celicas are.... more rare to find a 96-99 in general...

I've had 3 96's, a '94, and a '98. But I've noticed that predominantly I see more '94-95's than anything else.

Those total production numbers are actually great. The difference between the months is how much was produced that month. so it looks like
from may 93 to april 94 they made 12,028 (94 model year)
----from start of may 94 to end of april 95 they made 14685(95 model year)
----from start of may 95 to april 96 they made 9678 (96 model year)
----from start of may 96-april 97 they made 7555 (97 model year)
----from start of may 97 to end april 98 they made 5676 (98 model year)
You see 94 production started in may 93, so assuming every model year thereafter started at the same time - it looks like 94-95 by FAR had the numbers on the rest of the model years. They're prolly calling all leftover production from may 99 to december 99 the 99 model year and then focused on new model change-over for the 7th gen is my guess.

94-95 cheaper easier to find
96-99 little more expensive, old people drive them and don't want to get rid of it yet

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
