just wondering how everyone has theirs hooked up, and does anyone know if where the stock catch can would go the smaller line coming from the lower side of the crank that was spitting oil when i forgot to connect it can be blocked? if im using an aftermarket catch can would that be ok to do or am i just asking for problems here? any input is much appreciated. ill try and get pics of what i am talking about later.

I am just using the stock catch can/lines.....st205 WRC.

Are you talking about the line coming off of the PCV valve? How is your aftermarket catch can hooked up? How is the crankcase getting vented with how you have it set up?

Just make sure that the crankcase is able to relieve excess pressure through the PCV valve and I think you should be okay.

the stock setup is probably your best bet since it does incoperate that drain.
if your running an aftermarket can, hook it up like stock, ( line from valve cover to the can, and a line from the can to your intake, pre turbo) and if it dont have a drain, cap the fitting on the back of the head.

I'm in the process of doing a 3rd gen swap for a friend, going to cap the port on the head, and use the PCV and the big breather line to run into the intake pre turbo via a custom intake pipe. Should work out well

The OEM catch tank set up is TITS, but I did not get the can with the engine

I had the stock one, but accidentally shipped it off when I sold my W2A setup.... But the drain line can be capped off is what I believe I am hearing

Yep you can, just make sure what you use to cap it is compatible with oil. If you use a standard rubber the oil will break it down and eventually leak
