I got this car a couple years ago from texas and looking to upgrade to a newer car. I don't want this car sitting as I have 3 other cars to drive. It drives well but shakes in 1st and 2nd gear. I am going to have my mechanic look at it to see what the issue is, on Tuesday. Talked toto him onto the phone and sounds like hes leaning towards engine mounts. I ruled that out but what do i know lol. The car was painted a pearl white a few years back. It shines but paint is ok. No rust except on rear hatch near the weather strip. It sat for a couple years before I bought it. A lot of gaskets were replaced in the engine bay. I have records from previous owner.

Pearl white paint
Absolutely no rust on body (except hatch)

AR1 Wheels with excellent tire thread (under 5k)
Power everything
7th gen short shifter
interior in good shape, no rips
Megan coilovers
fenders need paint as I dropped my car low and it scraps lol
200k on motor and still driving good
jdm tails with amber cleared out
Tie rods replaced (haven't gotten car aligned yet)
Driver side axle replace right away when I brought it home from texas
Shift boot may need replacing lol its old

wow that sounds like a great deal. there is more than 2k in aftermarket parts alone. good luck with the sale, it should sell quick.

Not separating anything. Wheels are in good shape. There are nicks on the lip from driving every nice day lol. Zake, I hope it sells to a celica enthusiast.

I only asked about the wheels because they're my fav type of wheels and it would be to my advantage to buy the whole car for clean parts, white paint, and jdm accessories. I have to wait until this march madness is over with. 4 ohio teams in the sweet 16!! Go Bearcats, hope you tear to Bucks a new one.... and Go Bobcats (my alma), UNC may be in trouble!

Bad:

needs alighnment, its fine
window has a crack (idiot co-workers)
rust on hatch, right under weather strip. this can be sanded down.
could use a new shift boot
bad motor mount (runs smooth after 3rd gear. doesn't shake throughout 1st and 2nd, just at the beginning)
no cd player. the one that came with was skipping my cd's super bad so i took it out

I am basically selling the coilovers and wheels with a free running shell lol. I'd really like this sold but I'm sure like any car sale, it'll take a while. Overall a very nice, excellent, clean, and very straight Celica. This is my 5th 6th gen celica and my most enjoyable celica because I've been able to do what i want with it. But as I get older, I was something newer and bigger because I have 3 kids. Drives good and straight. Most JDM parts are removed and sold unless stated. Let me know if you have questions, thanks!

hm i missed your first comment. YES, they fit the celica well! i've always loved that style wheel on the 6th gen.

When this crazy stuff gets over with, If I can get a free weekend in april and can do the aforementioned things, I'd look at/seriously consider taking a Southwest flight puddle jumper style to Minn. where I have a family friend, get the car. Drive it home if you think I can.

Do you still have the hatch visor on the car?

No, unfortunately i dont. That hatch visor made a difference in appearance though! Yeah, let me know. I drove it as is from Texas. I did a tune up two years ago when i got it and have only done oil changes, otherwise it's the same deal engine-wise.

I had a couple pm's regarding parts. I am not parting anything at this point. I have a couple interested buyers but nothing serious yet.
