Car idles at 12-1300 rpm for like 20 seconds after driving and putting into neutral or holding the clutch is that normal?

Does it quit if u stab the gas? Mine kinda does that. I think its a sticky throttle cable. U might try spraying some lithium grease down the cable sheath from both ends
Yea when I begin to drive agian it drops down to normal but will try this thanks

I have that same problem but my car has been idling ALOT better after running premium Chevron gas with gas additives(recommend LUCAS) for about a couple weeks. It's most likely all the carbon build up. I'm planning on seafoaming my car on my next pay check.
