Topic #8296 7 posts Started by 5sfeTurbo
Since alot of us think this is a horrible thing for the 5s, how about throwing in some crower rods and Ross pistons 8:5:1 and then turning up the boost..huh huh tell me thats not gonna last >tongue.gif> Given the rods are expensive but well worth it could you throw them in with stock internals???

the 5sfe crank can take a lot of abuse, dont worry about that part

new performanc pistons and rods will make any car that much more reliable when turboed

Yea Crower makes rods for the 5s: $670 and Ross has 5s pistons(but web-site is being reconstructed) So i will probably hook it up after a while run like 10 pounds intercooled...oh yeaaa >wink.gif>
check with raceeng.com they have good prices and i have dealt with them personally and they're good guys.
That web site raceeng.com seems to have 2 different piston types made by themselves for the 5s one is 87mm and the other is 87.5mm which one is the winner?
that sounds kinda wierd. i would call them.
