Well might be a bit had the hood prep'd got it all ready to spray, i sprayed the corner and bam fish eyed like crazy. So i'ma check the gun and lines, it might be awhile before i get pictures.

Thanks for the interest fellas!

Make sure ur pre/cleaner isnt oil based bro, that would also cause the fish, but Im sure u already know that. And also be sure to run it thru ur gun before painting, prolly just a dirty gun.

I'm 90% sure it was a dirty gun, i tried it on a few test panels after cleaning it and it did just fine. So i'm gonna try it again tomorrow and hope it turns out halfway decent.

Not the best picture but it'll do for now (My cells camera screen is scratched as you can see). I'm going to wet sand it and do 2 more coats atleast, but with this ME it has to dry for awhile before you can sand or shoot it again in like a week plus CHEAP PAINT WOOT.

Bisimoto tag frame LAWL.

Not really a theme going on here, but it crossed my mind although i wouldn't paint them i'd use a film just incase i didn't like the look.

Question....Would you fellas think painting the hatch black would look better or just the spoiler?

It's a toss up so i would like some input on both.

Cleaning and improving my new found yoter little by little.
I asked about the hatch or spoiler lol.

For now i'ma leave the roof be as it's got a sun roof and idk how that will look so one step at a time.

Just thought I'd make a suggestion smile.gif
Never hurts, but i only have so much paint and all of this is being done outside in the elements. So painting parts i can take off is a big plus, i'm having to redo the hood due to water spots awell.

Question....is their only 2 bolts for each side of the spoiler? or is their some playing peek a boo?
I took 4 of the obvious bolts off and the bitch won't come off i don't wanna brake it.

Cleaning and improving my new found yoter little by little.
Yeah, there are only two per side.

Well dang...This is why you remove such piece's before painting. Macco paint job has lasted a good bit though was on it before he got the car 4+yrs ago.

Is there a certain way to take it off i know some cars with spoiler's slide a certain way for installation and to take them off. This one seems to have about 3/8 of slide play front to back. The front corners are lose it's the back that wont lift up so that's why i'm asking if theres a certain way to get it off.

It's probably being held on by the adhesive. And I know you said you removed two bolts, but were two of them holding in rubber bumpers? is so, then you missed two bolts. I'm not sure but I think two are hidden by little plastic covers.
I took off 2 that had rubber bump stops toward the rear (12mm) and 2 under rubber seals (10mm) toward the front of the spoiler. I did look under the plastic hatch cover and seen nothing, but i will check again.

Like i said the fronts lose and i can slide it front to rear about 3/8's of an inch and lift it, but i can not get the back to brake free to lift only front to rear play aswell as a bit of side to side.I would just like do paint it separate but before i brake or crack it i'll just paint it while it's attached to the hatch.

Adhesive among dirt, grime, and paint it shouldn't have that play in it if it was stuck to the stuff, i'm more afraid of messing it up i guess than anything else. Spoiler'less just don't look right if i did brake it i would be SOL.

Theres an alinement pin that gets stuck in place pretty good.
So you just have to wiggle the crap out of it to get that pin to slide out

Welp seems my starter wire decided to randomly go bad out of the blue, i was going to mess with the timing but nope wont even turn ovr checked the fuses, relay's then the starter wire and got nothing.

Took her out for a spin today after fixin the no start issue, timing, and new ngk plugs. Doesn't run bad at all WAY better than before and i was even on a slight hill turning left had to let out abit in first also with 2 full pc's in the hatch my tools and the accords axles you can hear the slight bang when i catch 2nd thats all the stuff sliding toward the rear it made the hatch light come on LOL.

0-80mph letfting off in 3rd a bit was a back bumpy country road.

Should do alot better once i replace this cracked to hell exhaust mani and down pipe aswell as my intake done. I'm impressed with it for 115hp&tq before it was stupid slow the timing was retarded like 15+ degrees with fouled heavy gas smelling denso's.

Haha lets hope not. The only thing extreme power wise thats crossed my mind is a small shot maybe a 35, i've always been about building under dog engine's so if later down the road i want to actually build an engine it will be a 7a.

Supension wise i do plan to do abit this isn't a fast car by any means (Should have no issues with a mini me z6 or y8 though), but they do stick in the bends which is great for my neck of the woods plenty of mountain twisties.

I'll be honest i'm getting addicted to the car thats why the hondas going.

^^^^^ That n they're everywhere, almost like skylines in Japan, lol. Im interested in the 7a build as well. Be warned tho Tak that it does have alot of week points as far as power n durability. Wife spun a rod in hers the other week n now she wants to swap like me, lol

They seem to atleast last 200k on the average, i'm talking an actual build not a rebuild and slaping **** together and hoping it will hold power you'd be better off just having few spares to swap in rather than hope to make reliable power on a slaped together rebuild.

As of now engine build talk is about as pointless as pissing in the wind, as i don't have the money nor do i want a project and i would need to do a little more research on the engine both hands on on a spare and on the web.
If i wanted something for straight line fun i'd finish the accord and keep it. What i need is a good reliable cheap on fuel, but yet fun DD and the celica is all of that plus it's pretty simple just like my hondas.

I enjoy it and working on it hasn't bored me yet thats a big plus. I'm 2 engine builds deep on my accord and i've grown tired of it (Sometimes i'd like to finish it for myself) & all of the idiots that usually come with the group which most are young.

This crowd seems to be alot less fanboi'ish & down to earth
