I never said manual was less fun; because it isn't. But newer autos are way better than what was available years ago, this why many super cars are coming standard with semi-auto transmissions.

But the point was, the driver doesn't control it, they just use the flappy paddles or shift forward backward tongue.gif

Which isn't anywhere as fun. tongue.gif I don't care if DST's or DSG's are faster, I rather have a traditional manual. To me having the ability to jump around gears as you please is a little more important than shaving those couple of tenths of a second to 60... Already in the 3 second range anyway, as if those few tenths really matter or are even noticeable. The real reason they're doing it is so the rich fùcks that actually buy the cars can somewhat drive their status symbol. tongue.gif

"Semi-Automatic" also sounds better than "manual" or "auto", despite what it actually is

I've probably will. The auto trand is the thing I hate the most in my car. If I had a stick everything would be 100x better.

If/when I ever do it, I will be engine swapping too...

Local guy has a 3S-GE +LSD /manual for $2k right near my house... They are open for offers too, I just don;t have the time, money or space atm...

....when every time you see those four lights you think 'lift or coupe?' and make sure to take note as it passes!
....when you look at interior pics to assure yourself they dont have a perfect looking armrest either, NOONE DOES!

I have a close to perfect armrest. tongue.gif At a glance you wouldn't see anything wrong.

The only time that happened was back in May when I had someone wanting to come down and buy it, but my alternative transportation was decommissioned when I was expecting to have it until I bought another car.

As of right now I've had 477 people view my car, and 13 people are watching it. Not the first message asking to come see it, or anything. What the Hell is that about?

...the last thing you do closing up the house at night for bedtime is to turn on the garage light, stare with admiration at your Celica, and then close the garage door!

Someone once called my celica a supra of course it was some kid working at albertsons so I just said thanks lol

Lol I work at a gas station and people always ask me about my "supra". When I'm lazy and don't feel like explaining I just go along with it tongue.gif
