Topic #84533 6 posts Started by Neon90424
Will these sparkplugs fit my 3sgte?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NGK-Iridium-Plug-S...r#ht_3725wt_952

They are BKR9EIX NGK iridium spark plugs, says 14mm Thread other than that I am clueless as to will it fit in my valve cover or not... is there any part number I have to look for?

because heat range 7 and 8 I found on ebay only say BKR7EIX...

anyways I Found this online maybe it will help... any other info is helpful...

The other plug you mention is actually "ZFR5FIX-11"

ZF and BK basically mean the same thing, 14mm, 5/8, extended/projected tip.

R means Resistor type plug

5 or 6 being the heat range with a higher number being colder

EIX and FIX means Iridium and I believe thread reach with E being a slightly longer reach.

-11 and -13 is the preset gat with -11 being like .044 and -13 being .05X, think like .052.

What I think when you think I care
They will fit but the 9 heat range is probably too cold for your application. The BKR7EIX is what you want for a normal 3sgte. Thats one step colder than stock.

i highly doubt that a 5 is the stock heat range. i would say that 6 is the stock range and 7 is 1 step colder. those are high dollar iridium plugs which work good, however since im cheap and change plugs alot, i go with standard copper NGK plugs. BKR7ES

Well those plugs will work, just pick your heat range. 6 is stock and 9 is three steps colder than stock.
