endinks bad? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #84645 7 posts Started by CAcelica29
i know they are pretty rusted, one is not fully tightened anymore due to being stripped i believe.....make s a bit of a clinking sound on my passenger front. yes talking about front endlinks not rear. any suggestions for brand, im trying to save as much as possible for these. thanks.
Thats how my rear ones sounded, and it was more so when you went over bumps unevenly.
If you're left tire hits then your right tire hits a bump, or only one tire hits a bump, and it clicks, but if you hit a bump with both wheels at the same time, say going up a driveway, then itt could be your endlinks.
Thats how my rear ones reacted.

ya the sound is mainly when going over bumps, being the roads kinda suck where im at i hear it constantly. what brands would you recommend for replacement?
The racing beat endlinks from Miata are one option, But they amy only work on the rear, do a quick search and youl find out. there's a few endlink threads kicking around.
Also, Twos r us makes a set of endlinks the st185 that work on our cars as well and thats what I have. (http://twosrus.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=95&products_id=254)
And gt4racing also makes a set (http://www.gt4-racing.eu/index.php/toyota-celica-st202)

Those are all updraded from stock, you can also get aftermarket, OEM replacement, that eliminates the terrible Hex design of the stock ones, so it is an imporvement and will also perform slightly better, but are probably the same or close to the same price as the ones listed above.

It all depends on what you want to spend.
I believe these are all the options for enlinks. Hope this helps
