Anyone have a write up haven`t found anything yet, its leaking freon and need to replace it. Mechanic says it`ll cost me about $700 to repair...what do you guys think?

I broke a bolt off in my evap core at the firewall earlier this year and had to figure out how to replace it myself. Forget about paying some mechanic an exorbitant amount to take my entire dash apart and give me squeaks and rattles everywhere.
